The CBC's Your View Question of the Day

Today the CBC is asking  "What Do You Think of the Governor General's Decision?"

Here's what I submitted.

"I'm really disappointed that Harper's request to prorogue Parliament was granted because I suspect he will use that time to bombard Canadians with more of the inaccurate, jingoistic propaganda we have been subjected to in recent days. Why didn't the Governor General forbid him from engaging in any of the misinformation campaigns and attack ads for which his administration is infamous? And why, when questioned by a member of the media, didn't he indicate who is paying for his party's PR campaign: his party or the Canadian taxpayer? A less than straight answer is often a very telling answer indeed."
