Strategic Voting Update

B I just wanted to point out how important it is to research-- and re-research -- the strategic voting issue between now and election day, if that's an option you're considering.

The recommendation that the voting tool on my blog is making for my riding has changed over the past few days.

It doesn't affect my voting decision, but it may affect yours, depending on who you were intending to vote for and whether you were considering strategic voting as an option.

Note:
See also Vote for Environment for yet another perspective on strategic voting.

Do you have a reference for that statement, Wayne? (I'm not trying to be a pain. I just think it's important to back up potentially controversial statements with evidence so that people can check the evidence for themselves.) I'd go look it up myself, but I'm currently connecting by dial-up and the election could be over by the time I find anything useful!

Kevin Grandia, co founder of Vote for the Environment has admitted his firm has done NO polling in this riding ! I have to wounder how creditable their recommendations are ?

Wow. Yet another set of numbers! I don't think I've done this much math in years. :-)

I like your concept of "cumulative progressive vote".

Here's a link to the methodology page, for others who are interested in checking out this additional perspective:

I encourage you to take a looks at this website http://www.strategicvoting.ca/ . Check the methodology page to know how I come up with the recommendation.
