Lonely Corn Muffin

Filmmakers Erica Rivinoja and Elizabeth Rippet are the creative minds behind Lonely Corn Muffin -- a series of dark comedy short films featuring a neo-conservative corn muffin.

There are four separate episodes -- available on both iTunes (use the search tool on the site) and YouTube (although it appears that the episode about domestic violence has been removed from YouTube).

Each episode tackles a separate political hot potato (or muffin): abortion, the right to bear arms, racism, or domestic violence. The films are designed to shock and provoke discussion. They make for fascinating viewing but they may offend some viewers. Be forewarned. If you can't stand left-leaning art films that are designed to make you think, you may want to stay out of the muffin kitchen.
